About PAC

For years, PAC founder Taylor Clark searched for in-person adoptee groups. She sought to engage with a local community of individuals who understood how she felt as an adopted person. When she couldn't find any such group, she decided to found Philly Adoptee Collective and in turn, discovered her true passion. PAC was officially created in November of 2024 and will start hosting our events in 2025. As a new and growing organization, we are excited to connect with adoptees in and around the Philadelphia area. We strongly believe in the power of community and are eager to share resources, support, and stories that resonate with our network. Join us on this journey as we foster special connections and celebrate the experiences of adoptees together!

Mission

At PAC, our mission is to empower and uplift adoptees by prioritizing their unique experiences and needs. Since our founding, we have strived to build a supportive community that fosters connection, understanding, and advocacy, ensuring that every adoptee feels valued and heard. We believe in the power of adoptee voices and will continue to provide an encouraging support system to adoptees from all backgrounds.

Vision

We envision a future where adoptees are at the heart of adoption discussions, ensuring their voices are heard and valued. Our goal is to foster a culture that treats adoptee stories with the utmost respect, acknowledging difficult experiences and perspectives. We also envision a future that encompasses widespread adoptee community. In this inclusive environment, adoptees will no longer have to seek out community; it will be readily available and supportive.  Together, we aim to create a world where every adoptee feels empowered, understood, and celebrated for the amazing individuals that they are.
