Great question. We sure hope so! Being that PAC is brand new, we'd love to host a few welcoming events sometime next year to allow for members to meet and get to know one another. We hope to burst onto the scene with invigorating ideas, events, activities, and workshops for Philadelphia adoptees of all backgrounds. With the help and support from our splendid PAC members, we're confident that our many ideas will be brought to life in due time. When I first began searching for a local adoptee support group, I came up empty. There were seemingly endless Google results for groups intended to help birth mothers, adoptive parents, and kinship/foster families, but I couldn't find an adoptee-focused group nearby to me. Too often in the "world of adoption," adoptee voices are silenced and go unheard; we speak of wounds and challenges that some do not understand nor wish to hear. With the creation of PAC, I sought to embrace the local adoptees around me in a show of community, togetherness, and transparency. I send my love and light to all members of the adoption triad, but hope that you can respect the group's mission to serve adoptees. - Taylor

Our only requirements are that 1) you are an adult adoptee and 2) that you agree to abide by our organization's rules. Please note that threats, hate speech, and violence toward another member are actions subject to membership termination.
